Motorola Confirms Android Plans

It was expected that Motorola as one of principal partens of Open Handset Alliance would launch a cell phone with Android Platform, but now it is official. Motorola has confirmed that will dive into Android waters.
Follow the statement from Motorola spokeperson to Betanews:

"Motorola is pleased to see the industry enthusiasm and support of the Android operating system. As a pioneer in mobile Linux and a founder of OHA, Motorola believes Android is it promises to be one of the most powerful, flexibe and customizable open platforms, anabling truly integrated mobile hardware, software and web experiences. We're excited about the innovation possibilities on Android, and look foward to delivering great products in partneship with Google and Open Handset Alliance community."
